At a scale of 1:450 TGauge is the smallest commercially available model railway in the WORLD! The "T" in TGauge comes from Three and refers to the width of the track, 3mm.

These fantastic models, manufactured by KK Eishindo of Japan are powered by 4,5Volt DC motors, and are fitted with magnetic wheels to improve power pickup. Each train set (Type 103) of four comes with two powered cars, these are positioned as the middle cars. The front and rear cars have working directional head/tail lights!

To get started in TGauge, you will need a Track Loop and Power Box Set (R-009 or R-010) and a set of Rail Cars from the Rolling Stock page. Then this can be powered by using one of three power sources - (3x) AA batteries, or our mains adaptor (E-001) or a USB Power Cable (E-002). Once you have the basics of a layout, you will be pleased to know that we have a comprehensive range of accessories and track sections to make your layout grow.
